EDUCATION AND TRAINING

I hold a master's degree in Counseling from the University of Houston. My clinical training and experience have included working with individuals, couples, families, and groups in a variety of settings, including Insightful Life Counseling Center, IntraCare North Hospital, and West Oaks Hospital.

I am an EMDR-trained clinician and incorporate trauma-informed approaches into my work with clients who are navigating difficult or painful experiences. I have also completed Level 1 training in the Gottman Method Couples Therapy, which has given me additional tools to help couples improve communication, navigate conflict, and strengthen their connection.

As a Certified Prepare/Enrich Facilitator, I work with couples through premarital coaching and couples counseling, helping them better understand one another, explore important areas of their relationship, and build a strong foundation for the future.

My approach is integrative and client-centered, drawing from approaches such as CBT, DBT-informed strategies, EMDR, and relationship-focused interventions depending on the needs and goals of each client.
